To provide a quality evaluation method of a silage utilizing radiation gas that evaluates quality by alteration of radiation extent of ammonia from outside of the silage.SOLUTION: In a quality evaluation method of feed in a silage that grass is pushed into an appointed shape and coated with synthetic resin film, radiation gas released from inside of a silage 2 is measured from outside of the film 1 by a radiation gas measuring instrument 3 chronologically, and the quality of the feed in the silage is evaluated from the alteration of radiation amount of ammonia. When the radiation amount of ammonia increases or increases slightly chronologically or there is no alteration, the evaluation is high quality. When it decreases chronologically, the evaluation is bad quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】サイレージの外側で放散アンモニア量の変化によって品質評価を行う、放散ガスを利用したサイレージの品質評価方法を提供する。【解決手段】牧草を所定の形状に押し固めて合成樹脂製のフィルムで被覆したサイレージの飼料の品質評価方法であって、フィルム１の外側でサイレージ２の内部から放出される放散ガスを放散ガス測定器３によって経時的に測定し、放散ガスの放散アンモニアの量の変化によって、サイレージの飼料の品質を評価する。放散アンモニアの量が経時的に増加する場合、微増する場合又は変化がない場合は高品質であると評価し、経時的に減少する場合は劣悪品質であると評価する。【選択図】図１
