PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more visible liquid crystal display for an electronic device such as an electronic thermometer, a pedometer, a pulse oximeter, or a salinometer.SOLUTION: An electronic thermometer 100 for measuring body temperature comprises: a holder having an opening, the peripheral part of which supports an outer edge part of a liquid crystal panel member for display of the measured body temperature； and a case 101 having an opening through which the liquid crystal panel member supported by the holder is visible from outside. A side wall surface that forms the opening of the holder and a side wall surface that forms the opening of the case both slope such that the area of the openings increases toward outside. In addition, the side wall surfaces form a continuous slope surface.
