The use of monoclonal antibodies Fab28 and Fab49 for the prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of swine-origin influenza A (H1N1) virus (S-OIV) infections is described, the which virus is responsible for the influenza syndrome commonly known as "swine flu". Moreover, the use of the above-mentioned antibodies for selecting potential vaccines for active immunization against S-OIV is described.La présente invention concerne lutilisation danticorps monoclonaux Fab28 et Fab49 pour le traitement prophylactique et/ou thérapeutique dinfections par le virus (S-OIV) de la grippe A (H1N1) dorigine porcine, ledit virus étant responsable du syndrome grippal communément appelé «grippe porcine». Linvention concerne également lutilisation desdits anticorps pour la sélection de vaccins potentiels pour une immunisation active contre le virus S-OIV.
