PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques of extending the half-life of therapeutic polypeptides.SOLUTION: Disclosed are: a polypeptide comprising a first chorionic gonadotropin carboxy-terminal peptide (CTP) attached to an amino terminus of a peptide of interest, and a second and a third CTP attached to a carboxy terminus of the peptide of interest； and a polynucleotide encoding the same. The CTPs originate from a beta subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin and comprise amino acid sequence SSSSKAPPPSLP.
