The subject matter of the invention concerns a method and a device for helping a surgeon during the application of a determined and known orthopaedic surgery protocol, that consists in providing steps of overlaying determined and recorded virtual data, based on 3D markers, so as to allow the surgeon to continuously overlay the virtual spatial information with the actual data of the limbs of the patient.L'objet de l'invention vise un procédé et un dispositif d'assistance d'un chirurgien lors de l'application d'un protocole déterminé et connu en chirurgie orthopédique, qui consiste à prévoir des étapes de superposition de données virtuelles déterminées et enregistrés, à partir de marqueurs 3D, de façon à permettre au chirurgien de superposer en continue les informations virtuelles dans l'espace avec les données réelles des membres du patient.
