The plate electrode for recording biosignals of human brain activity contains a metal sensor of high electrical conductivity in the form of a plate having a polished contact surface that is superimposed on the skin of the human head, as well as a surface to which the electric wire is attached, characterized in that it does not require the use of an electrically conductive gel, a sensor placed in a dielectric casing and covered by a dielectric cover, while the sensor is pushed upward out of the casing with its contact surface by means of a dense double-sided adhesive tape providing a spring effect, which is glued on one side to the surface of the sensor to which the electric wire is attached, and on the other hand is glued with foil to provide additional shielding, while on the other side of the foil there is a second layer of adhesive tape, which on one side glued to the foil side, and closed with a lid on the other.
