The invention relates to a device for separating tare, such as for example mud, stones, tops and the like, from agricultural products such as potatoes, onions and the like, comprising a frame in which two substantially parallel rollers are rotatably mounted, and wherein a spiral is fitted around at least part of said rollers. The said device comprises a scraper which is capable of translating movement in a direction substantially parallel to said rollers, wherein one end of said scraper can be placed between the windings of at least some of said spirals.
