PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granule which contains a high content of bilberry extract, which is useful for restoring asthenopia, restoring vision, improving blood vessel permeability, and the like, and is coated with a water-insoluble substance, and hardly causes coloration in the oral cavity, and to provide a method for producing the granule.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a granule, containing 70 mass% of bilberry extract, using granulated particles composed of a bilberry extract powder and hydroxypropyl cellulose as a core substance, and having an outer layer which is a shellac layer, and a method for producing the granule comprising the following steps: (1) a step of granulating the bilberry extract from a mixture of the bilberry extract powder and a fluidizing agent with a fluidized bed granulating dryer using an aqueous solution of hydroxypropyl cellulose as a spraying liquid； (2) a step of coating the granulated particles obtained in the step (1) as the core substance with the fluidized bed granulating dryer using a solution in which shellac is dissolved as the spraying liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】眼精疲労回復、視力回復や血管の透過性改善等に有用であるビルベリーエキスを高含有する粒子であって、水不溶性物質でコーティングされ、口腔内の着色を起こしにくい顆粒、及び該顆粒の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】ビルベリーエキスを７０質量％以上含有し、ビルベリーエキス粉末とヒドロキシプロピルセルロースからなる造粒物を芯物質とし、外層がシェラック層である顆粒、及び以下の工程からなる該顆粒の製造方法。（１）ビルベリーエキス粉末と流動化剤の混合物を流動層造粒乾燥機により、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロースの水溶液を噴霧液としてビルベリーエキスを造粒する工程。（２）工程（１）で得た造粒物を芯物質として流動層造粒乾燥機により、シェラックを溶解した溶液を噴霧液としてコーティングする工程。【選択図】図２
