Disclosed is a blood pressure measurement device that utilizing volume clamping and that is wearable by a patient. The blood pressure measurement device may comprise: a finger cuff attachable to the patient's finger including a light emitting diode (LED)-photodiode (PD) pair to measure a pleth signal and a bladder surrounding the finger and a blood pressure measurement controller coupled to the bladder through a finger cuff connector to provide pneumatic pressure to the bladder. The blood pressure measurement controller may be wearable by the patient. The blood pressure measurement controller may include: a pump coupled to the finger cuff connector, a valve, a pressure sensor, and control circuitry coupled to the pump, the valve, the pressure sensor, and the LED-PD pair.
