PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basin for water supply apparatus in a paddy field, which can easily and accurately install a water supply apparatus for supplying water to a paddy field and can effectively protect the water supply apparatus disposed therein.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a box-shaped basin in which a water supply apparatus for supplying water to a paddy field is disposed. Here, a basin body 10 comprises a sensor section 12 for arranging a sensor device used for setting a water level, a water supply section 14 for arranging a water supply stopper, and a partition wall 15 that partitions the sensor section 12 and the water supply section 14. On the wall surface of the basin body 10, there is a water intake port 16 for introducing water for use into the sensor section 12. The conduit height at the lower end of the water intake port 16 is set to coincide with the zero point of the sensor device.
