Pharmaceutical compositions and methods are provided for immunotherapy. The pharmaceutical composition comprises genetically engineered bacteria that express human disease-associated antigen (s), preferably two or more patient-specific antigens, as polytopes. The bacteria have genetically engineered lipopolysaccharides or the patient's own endogenous bacteria so that the bacteria express endotoxic at low levels that are insufficient to induce CD-14 mediated sepsis.
