PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide temporary embolization of a vascular site in a mammal.SOLUTION: One aspect of the present invention relates to methods of embolizing a vascular site in a mammal, comprising introducing into the vasculature of the mammal a composition comprising an inverse thermosensitive polymer. The inverse thermosensitive polymer gels in the vasculature. The composition is injected through a small catheter. The composition gels at or below the body temperature.
