The present invention relates to the novel use of a composition comprising a compound of the formula I:wherein R is C2H5 or C2H3, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for inducing multiple nuclear divisions of cells inducing tissues, blood vessels or organs to regenerate after the multiple nuclear divisions or inducing stem cells to differentiate into immunocytes after the multiple nuclear divisions.
