The core material (21) has a mass per unit area that does not exceed 650 g/m2 and comprises a first water absorbing layer (28) in which hydrophilic fibers (27) and super absorbent polymers (26) are mixed and a second water absorbing layer (29) which includes the hydrophilic fibers (27) but does not include the super absorbent polymers (26), the first water absorbing layer (28) and the second water absorbing layer (29) being overlapped.
