PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mapping catheter with the electric activity inside a tubular structure such as the pulmonary vein or the coronary vein antrum.SOLUTION: The mapping catheter comprises a catheter main body (12) and a mapping assembly (17). The catheter main body comprises an outer wall part, a base end part and a top, and at least one lumen piercing through them. The mapping assembly comprises a nearly straight-lined base end region (38) attached to the catheter main body, a nearly circular main body region (39) with a prescribed periphery, located nearer to the top than the base end region, and a nearly straight-lined top region (40) located nearer to the top than the main body region.
