PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that a thrombus occurs inside a balloon lumen to cause clogging by preventing that blood is not sucked from purge holes even if applying negative pressure so as to contract a balloon inside a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 1 comprises a double tube composed of an inner tube 2 and an outer tube 3 both having opened tips, is disposed with a tip part of the outer tube in a position shifted by a prescribed length to the rear end direction of a tip part of the inner tube, is provided with a balloon 5 astride both the tip parts of the tubes, and is provided with a balloon lumen 6 for expanding or contracting the balloon by sterilized water between both the tubes in a state that the tip is opened to the inner tube. The inner tube covered with the balloon is formed with purge holes 8 which discharge air remaining inside the balloon lumen or inside the balloon to a main lumen formed inside the inner tube when the balloon is expanded, and which are closed by the balloon when the balloon is contracted.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 血管内でバルーンを収縮させるために陰圧をかけても、パージ孔から血液が吸引されることがなく、バルーンルーメン内で血栓ができ詰ることを防止する。【解決手段】 共に先端が開口したインナーチューブ2とアウターチューブ3の二重管からなり、アウターチューブの先端部がインナーチューブの先端部より後端方向に所定長さずれた位置に配置され、これらチューブの両先端部間に跨ってバルーン5が設けられ、このバルーンを滅菌水により膨張又は収縮させるためのバルーンルーメン6が両チューブ間に先端をインナーチューブに開口して設けられているバルーンカテーテル1である。バルーンで覆われているインナーチューブにバルーンの膨張時にはバルーンルーメン内及びバルーン内に残存する空気をインナーチューブ内に形成されるメインルーメンに排出し、バルーンの収縮時にはバルーンによって閉塞されるパージ孔8が設けられている。【選択図】 図1
