A method of mapping cardiac repolarization activity is provided. Cardiac repolarization activity may be mapped using action potential duration (APD) and/or excitatory recovery interval (ARI). APD may be measured, for example, using a bipolar electrogram signal measured with a monophasic action potential (MAP) catheter. ARI may be measured using a monopolar electrogram signal. The electrogram signal is used to identify the depolarization tick time. The repolarization tick time may be specified using either the time at which the electrogram signal falls below a threshold, or the maximum and minimum values of the first derivative of the electrogram signal. The diastolic interval may also be calculated using the depolarization tick time and the repolarization tick time.
