PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for a high-frequency treatment of a type in which an electrode part is cooled by a refrigerant such as salt water, capable of more accurately measuring a tissue temperature in the vicinity of the electrode part.SOLUTION: In a tip 32 of an electrode 30 provided on a distal side of a shaft part 20, a groove 38 is formed on a first surface tapered to the most distal end 39 along a central axis of the electrode part 30. An electric wire 36 connected to a temperature sensor 35 has a shape bent at a distal part, and at least part of the electric wire 36 more distal than a bent part is fitted into the groove 38.
