PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate superposition of images even when a bed top sags.SOLUTION: In a radiological imaging system, a calculation unit calculates the position of the bed top rendered in a plurality of X-ray CT images of a subject which is tomographically generated by an X-ray CT apparatus. A determination unit determines the positions of overlapped parts of the subject between nuclear medicine images having adjacent imaged parts in a plurality of overlapped nuclear medicine images of the subject which are generated at predetermined intervals, and determines the shift between the nuclear medicine images. A positioning unit positions the X-ray CT images and nuclear medicine images which have substantially the same position of the subject, based on the shift between the position of the bed top in the plurality of the X-ray CT images calculated by the calculation unit and the plurality of nuclear medicine images determined by the determination unit.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】天板だれが生じた場合でも、画像の重ね合わせが容易に行えるようにすること。【解決手段】実施の形態の放射線イメージング装置では、算出部は、X線CT装置によって断層撮像された被検体の複数のX線CT画像において、各X線CT画像に描出された天板の位置を算出する。決定部は、被検体を所定の間隔で重複して撮像した複数の核医学画像において、撮像部位が隣り合う核医学画像間で被検体の重複部位の位置を決定することで、各核医学画像間のずれを決定する。位置合わせ部は、算出部により算出された複数のX線CT画像における天板の位置、および決定部により決定された複数の核医学画像間のずれに基づいて、被検体の略同一位置を撮像したX線CT画像および核医学画像の位置合わせを行なう。【選択図】図8
