A continuous round baler is formed by a conical portion of a bale forming chamber and forms a cylindrical shaped bale by a spiral coil layer protruding upward from the cylindrical portion of the bale forming chamber. The bale is supported on the circumference by netting applied to the bale in the cylindrical portion. The rotary feed table accepts the crop from the field and feeds the crop into the conical section. The bale forming process can be interrupted if the amount of crop collected on the rotary feed table is insufficient. The netting material is provided in short rolls to facilitate loading on the machine. The cut-off mechanism is coupled to the growing portion of the bale from the cylindrical portion and cuts the bale by a predetermined length having an end surface perpendicular to the axis of the bale.
