The method for producing an aqueous-phase, seawater-based polymer fluid according to the present invention, with high performance at high temperatures for drilling onshore and offshore wells, called SPAT®, aims at producing in each of its steps an advanced-technology product which contributes to improve the drilling performance of wells with a high-temperature gradient of up to 200°C. The fluid produced by this method fulfills all the functions required for drilling a well in production zones with minimum formation damage, since the chemical substances that compose the fluid: are 100% soluble in an HCl concentration of 15%; are easy to produce, with 70 m3 for each 30 minutes as the maximum production time of the base fluid; reduce the use of ships; are biodegradable in a shorter time; are excellent inhibitors of clay soils; exhibit good lubricant properties, substantially improving the ROP; distinctly improve well purity, providing a funnel viscosity of 50 seconds from the moment the fluid is produced.
