PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stem cell for administration to scalp which can achieve hair growth even when it is administrated to a scalp in a state in which an amount of a male sex hormone is excessive.SOLUTION: There is provided a stem cell for administration to scalp which is used for treatment of a baldness, the stem cell being derived from a male sex hormone-based hair (androgenic hair) or derived from a hair root of the body hair (male sex hormone-based body hair), in which, the male sex hormone-based body hair is a body hair generated on a body surface other than the scalp. For example, preferably, the male sex hormone-based body hair is a pubic hair. The male sex hormone-based body hair is an underarm hair.
