The lid is selectively mountable over the mouth of the container to substantially enclose the storage cavity in an assembled configuration. a side wall extends substantially perpendicularly from one of the body walls and the upper wall. the sidewall defines an opening and a compartment and has an opening edge adjacent to the opening. A moisture control material is positioned inside the compartment. The sealing membrane has a peripheral portion. the peripheral portion is fixed to the sidewall near the opening edge.
