PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent product which shows a good absorbent property for relatively highly viscous excretion liquid.SOLUTION: An absorbent product includes an absorbent body having a skin-side sheet, a non-skin-side sheet, and an absorbent core 40, the product having a front part, an excretion facing part, and a rear part in a longitudinal direction. The absorbent core 40 includes a pair of side regions 45 and a center large basis weight region 41 in the excretion facing part B, the center large basis weight region 41 being in a central 5 of 7 divided regions of a length in a width direction of the absorbent core 40. In the excretion facing part B, a pair of side compressed grooves 71 are formed on a skin facing face extending in a longitudinal direction. When the center large basis weight region 41 is divided into three by two parallel straight lines into a center region and center-side regions, a side leak-preventive groove 71 is formed over the center-side region and the side region while not being included in the center region. At least the center region is made thicker than at least a part of the portion in which the side compressed grooves 71 are not formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
