The endoscope sleeve includes a tubular member from which the spaced apart protruding elements extend. The protruding elements can be bent to both sides in the proximal and distal directions of the tubular member. The force (insertion force) required to bend the protruding element toward the proximal direction side is smaller than the force (incremental force) required to bend the protruding element toward the distal direction side.
