The present invention relates to a method for thepreparation of a solution of immunoglobulins based on aninitial solution of immunoglobulins with a purity greaterthan or equal to 96% in the presence of a polyether orpolymer of glycol, characterised in that it comprises thesteps of: a) adding caprylic acid or salts of the sameto the initial solution； b) adjusting the pH of thesolution obtained in step a)； c) incubating the solutionobtained in step b) for the time and at a temperaturenecessary for the inactivation of enveloped viruses； d)performing a step of ultrafiltration/diafiltration on thesolution obtained in step c).
