A method of obtaining a pre-digested nutrient mixture, comprising mixing a therapeutically effective amount of digestive enzymes or their enzyme solution and a liquid nutrient composition containing a mixture of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and water, to form a pre-digested nutrient mixture. The method according to claim 1, where the mixing is preceded by the addition of digestive enzymes or their enzyme solution to the liquid nutritional composition. The method of claim 1, wherein the digestive enzymes are in the form of pancrelipase beads, pancrelipase beads that are enteric coated or pancrelipase beads that are enteric coated and mixing is carried out by mechanical mixing. The method according to claim 1, wherein the mixing is carried out by mechanical mixing of the pancrelipase beads and the liquid nutritional composition until the mixture is homogenized. The method according to claim 1, where their enzyme solution is obtained by suspending enteric-coated pancrelipase beads in a pharmaceutically acceptable weakly basic solution. The method according to claim 1, wherein stirring is carried out continuously at a stirring speed of from about 12,500 to about 18,000 rpm for about 1 to about 2 minutes at about room temperature. The method according to claim 5 or 6, where the mixture obtained by stirring is then combined with an additional portion of the liquid nutritional composition. The method of claim 6, wherein the mixing is carried out at from about 15,000 to about 16,500 rpm or in a mixing device having mixing blades, where the mixture to be mixed1.
