Systems, methods, and articles are disclosed for the behavioral treatment of an individual. One embodiment comprising a wearable housing assembly further comprising a microcontroller, charging jack port, status monitor, selection element, sensor array, and deterring member attached to the user via a connection strap, adjustment belt, frame, prong, and adjustment hole. The user selects the input/output properties of the microcontroller, status monitor, sensor array, and deterring member using the selection element. Upon performing an undesirable emotional outburst, the user is automatically administered a deterrence element, causing the cognizance of, or the inability to engage in, the undesirable behavior.
