PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic apparatus capable of suppressing failures in radiography even when both a cassette and a radiation detector are used as radiation detection means.SOLUTION: A radiographic apparatus is configured so as to perform radiography using either a cassette or an FPD 4 as detection means, and when radiography is performed using the cassette, an X-ray is not irradiated even when an instruction to start irradiation is given as long as replacement of the cassette is not detected. In a configuration such as this, failures in photography by performing X-ray irradiation to the same cassette twice can be prevented. According to the present information, X-ray irradiation can be continuously performed to the FPD 4 which is not required to be replaced.
