A LED dimmer for plant growth comprises: a boost type flyback conversion module, which has one primary circuit configured with a high-frequency switch and a plurality of secondary circuits respectively configured with a low-frequency switch； a plurality of LEDs provided with light emitting wavelength ranges required for plant growth that are respectively disposed at the secondary circuits； a programmable control module for driving the high-frequency switch and the low-frequency switches, which may allow for changing the conductivity of each low-frequency switch according to the written setting to adjust the average electric current distributed for and obtained by each LED and controlling the conductivity of the high-frequency switch to be changed in response to the difference of conduction and cut-off states of each low-frequency switch, so that each of LEDs may be all driven by an average electric current with a predetermined value (such as nominal electric current). Thus, the invention can be driven by a low voltage DC source and provide individual dimming.一種應用於植物生長之LED調光裝置，包括：一升壓型返馳式轉換模組，其有一次側電路並設有一高頻開關，以及複數二次側電路並皆設有一低頻開關；複數LED，具植物生長所需之不同發光波長範圍，分別設置於前述二次側電路；一可編程控制模組，用以驅動該高頻開關及前述低頻開關，係允許依寫入之設定，改變各低頻開關之導通率來調整各LED分配獲得的平均電流，以及控制該高頻開關之導通率隨各低頻開關之導通與截止的不同而對應改變，使各LED於導通期間均能以一預定數值之平均電流(如額定電流值)驅動；藉之，可由一低電壓直流源驅動並提供個別調光。
