PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal apparatus for vegetables and fruits, which is suitable for killing Dacus dorsalis Hendel and Dacus cucurbitae (eggs and larvae) attached to vegetables and fruits.SOLUTION: The ashtray apparatus is configured to inclde an insecticidal area 2 in which a plurality of differential-pressure insecticidal cylinder support compartments 5a-5d are arranged in series and a steam or dry heat forming area 3 in parallel with the series direction of the differential-pressure insecticidal cylinder support compartments, in a treatment room 1. The insecticidal area 2 and the steam or dry heat forming area 3 are mutually linked at a downstream flow channel path 11 downstream from a differential-pressure insecticidal cylinder 4 supported by the differential-pressure insecticidal cylinder support compartments 5a-5d and at an upstream flow channel path 12 upstream from the differential-pressure insecticidal cylinder 4 supported by the differential-pressure insecticidal cylinder support compartments 5a-5d.
