Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for controlling a terminal device, and a wearable electronic device, which are used to intelligently control another device by using the wearable electronic device. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: collecting, by the wearable electronic device, indicator data of a user's body； determining whether the indicator data meets a preset trigger condition； and if the indicator data meets the preset condition, sending a control command to the terminal device, so that the terminal device performs a preset operation.
