The present invention relates to a method for reducing a toxic substance of medicinal herb, the method comprising the following steps: (S1) mixing plums, pineapples, and grapes at a weight ratio of 2 : 2 : 1 to 1 : 2 : 2 and then extracting the same (S2) mixing 30-40 parts by weight of malt, 60-70 parts by weight of yeast, 15-20 parts by weight of sesame dregs, and 8-12 parts by weight of bean powder with respect to 100 parts by weight of juice obtained in step (S1), inserting the same into a mold, and molding the same (S3) covering the mold with straw, inserting the mold in a cypress tree container, and fermenting the mixture for 8-12 days while 30-32°C is maintained and (S4) adding water, which is obtained by washing rice and 5-10 times of a total weight of the fermented liquid, to the fermented liquid, and fermenting the fermented liquid at 25-27°C for three days, at 29-31°C for three days, and at 36-38°C for four days in order. According to the present invention, content of aconitine, a toxic substance, can be significantly reduced without reduction of active ingredients of medicinal herb.
