The present invention discloses the preparation of coated cranberry granules by fluidized-bed granulation.Granulation is first carried out with a natural juice, i.e. cranberry, followed by coating with a coating agent selected in the group consisting of: xanthan gum, arabic gum, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and cellulose derivates, shellac gum, pectins, polyvinyl-pyrrolidone (PVP), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC). Xanthan gum is particularly preferred.Eventually some probiotic, sweeteners, acidity regulators are optionally added.
