When a medical care apparatus (10) and a communication device (100) are communicating with each other, a user can make a detailed setting for each function of the medical care apparatus (10) by using the communication device (100). On the other hand, as to the first function by which a smooth medical care action may be directly disturbed depending on setting contents, a setting by the communication device (100) for the first function is restricted, so that it becomes possible to prevent a defect from occurring in the first function by an erroneous operation of the communication device (100).
