A lateral wall of pharynx traction device (9) comprises a bone fixer (1) a traction mechanism (2) and a lateral wall of pharynx fixer (3). The lateral wall of pharynx fixer (3) is fixed on musculus palatopharyngeus or other lateral wall of pharynx submucous tissues. With the bone fixer (1) fixed on alveolar process (81) or pterygoid hamulus (82) or pterygoid process (83) as the fulcrum one end of the traction mechanism (2) is connected on the bone fixer (1) and the other end of the traction mechanism (2) is connected on the lateral wall of pharynx fixer (3) so the lateral wall of pharynx submucous tissue is drawn outwards. The elastic drawing force produced by the traction mechanism (2) is greater than the sinking force of the lateral wall of pharynx produced by negative pressure during air intake and is less than the contraction force produced by the muscle of the lateral wall of pharynx during swallowing. The device (9) prevents the blockage caused by sinking of the lateral wall of pharynx due to the negative pressure produced by air intake thereby achieving the purpose of treating OSA and reduces the impact on swallowing as much as possible thereby maintaining good swallowing function.
