Areas of peltate glandules and their subcuticular cavitoes are calculated by formulas where S is area of peltate glandule S1 is area of subcuticular cavity, A1 and B1 are maximal transverse and longitudinal overall dimensions of peltate glandule, Ai and Bi are maximal transverse and longitudinal overall dimensions of subcuticular cavity of peltate glandule. Coefficient of eccentricity is determined by formula where ξ is coefficient of eccentricity of peltate glandule ξ1 is coefficient of eccentricity of subcuticular cavity. Estimation of functional activity of peltate glandules is carried out by analysing data obtained as a result of calculation of coefficient of intensity of essential oil synthesis by formula K=S1×n×10-3, where S1 is area of subcuticular cavity, in presectoral stage of peltate glandule S1=0 n is quantity of peltate glandules per 1 mm2, which makes it possible to calculate synthetic activity of peltate glandules per unit of lamina area and estimate fullness with secrete - fuller peltate glandules have rounded shape, eccentricity approaches zero.EFFECT: method makes it possible to point out the most productive forms among plant populations.6 dwg, 1 exИзобретение относится к области анатомических методов исследования, к фармокогнозии и селекции.
