PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stereoscopic scale for facilitating the measurement of a depth, a width and a height, etc., for an object present at the optional position of a stereoscopic video image photographed by a stereoscopic camera, and to display it on a stereoscopic video display device.SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video display device includes a first imaging apparatus 1 and a second imaging apparatus 2 disposed so that optical axes cross each other and a stereoscopic image display device 4, and is provided with: a stereoscopic scale image computing device 5 for forming the image of the stereoscopic scale with a length scale attached in the video images of the first imaging apparatus and the second imaging apparatus respectively, adjusting the visual axis intersection angle α of the stereoscopic scale and the size of the length scale, displaying it at the stereoscopic image display device 4 and making the stereoscopic scale in the video image stereoscopically viewed； and an operation board 6 provided with an operation end for moving the position of the displayed stereoscopic scale 11 in the video image.
