PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper allowing a wearing assistant to easily hold fastening tapes 4 when developing a flap sheet 30 in a folded state.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 includes: a flap sheet 30 extending outward a product width direction W from lateral edge parts 2S of an absorber body 2 and the pair of fastening tapes 4 extending outward the product width direction W from both lateral edge parts 30S of the flap sheet 30. The flap sheet 30 is folded down to a skin contact surface side along a first fold line F1 extending in a product longitudinal direction L, and then folded down to the skin contact surface side along a second fold line F1 extending in the product longitudinal direction L. In a state where the flap sheet 30 is folded once, the fastening apes 4 are superposed on the second fold line F2.
