Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Prozessfluid mit einem umweltverträglichen Biostabilisator, zur großtechnischen Verwendung in der Erdkruste, bevorzugt zur Verwendung in der Erdöl-und Erdgasförderung, insbesondere im Hydraulic Fracturing. Der Biostabilisator ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er mindestens eine organische Säure, oder ein Salz, Alkohol oder Aldehyd davon, umfasst, wobei die mindestens eine organische Säure ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Hopfensäuren, Harzsäuren, Fettsäuren und Gemischen davon. Bevorzugt ist der Biostabilisator ein Gemisch aus Hopfenextrakt, Kolophonium und Myristinsäure.
