PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a push button for attaching and detaching a bar from being pressed when using a dental handpiece.SOLUTION: A dental handpiece is fitted with a bar 10 and rotates the fitted bar 10. The dental handpiece comprises: a bar latch that is rotatable with the bar 10 and moves between a limiting position for limiting the attachment and detachment of the bar 10 by engaging with the bar 10 and an attaching/detaching position for enabling the attachment and detachment of the bar 10 by retreating from the bar 10 a drive shaft, which is disposed in a direction crossing the fitted bar 10, for transmitting a driving force to the bar 10 and a locking sheath 201, which is provided on the outer periphery of the drive shaft, for moving the bar latch from the limiting position to the attaching/detaching position by rotating the outer periphery of the drive shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯科用ハンドピース使用時にバーを着脱するためのプッシュボタンが押圧されることを抑制する。【解決手段】本発明が適用される歯科用ハンドピースは、バー10が装着されるとともに装着されたバー10を回転させる歯科用ハンドピースであって、バー10とともに回転可能であり、かつバー10と掛かり合いバー10の着脱を制限する制限位置とバー10から退避しバー10の着脱を可能とする着脱位置との間で移動するバーラッチと、装着されたバー10と交差する向きに配置されバー10に駆動力を伝達する駆動軸と、駆動軸の外周に設けられるとともに、駆動軸の外周を回転することによりバーラッチを制限位置から着脱位置に移動させるロッキングシース201とを備える。【選択図】図1
