PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground surface covering method using a planting component which supplies moisture with a hardly deformable container, secures a soil filling region having an accurate shape, and reduces occurrence probability of a heat island phenomenon in an urban area in summer.SOLUTION: A planting component comprises: a plurality of containers 1 which are arranged at an adequate interval, a removable lid 2 which blocks an opening surface of each of the containers 1, a drain port 11 with an opening at a bottom face of each of the containers 1, an overflow weir 12 formed around the drain port 11, and a water storage tank 13 formed between the overflow weir 12 and a wall surface of the container 1.【課題】水分を供給し、容器は変形しにくく、正確な形状の土壌充填範囲を確保し、かつ夏の都市のヒートアイランド現象の低下が期待できる緑化部材を用いた地表面を被覆の被覆方法。【解決手段】適度の間隔を介して配置した複数の容器１と、各容器１の上の開口面を閉塞し除去可能な蓋２と、各容器１の底面に開口した排水口１１と、排水口１１の周囲に形成した越流堰１２と、越流堰１２と容器１の壁面の間に形成した貯水槽１３とで構成したものである。【選択図】図３
