An artificial retinal prosthesis system comprises an optical device and a retina chip. The optical device is used to receive an external image and convert it into an optical pulse signal and produce a luminous energy. The retina chip is used to receive the optical pulse signal from the optical device and produce an electric simulation signal. The retina chip comprises a solar cell module to receive and convert the luminous energy into electrical energy to provide power.
