PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical tube body including a distal end having excellent plasticity and kink resistance.SOLUTION: A medical tube body 10 comprises a tubular inner layer 2, a reinforcement material superposed on the outer periphery of the inner layer 2, and an outer layer 4 covering the reinforcement material, and has a proximal end 101 and a distal end 102. The reinforcement material comprises a coil 3 formed of strands spirally wound around the outer periphery of the inner layer 2. At the proximal end 101, the coil 3 is formed of strands 31 and 32 having a first pitch L1, where each of the strands is singularly wound around as a single strand such that a winding angle of the strands 31 and 32 in an acute angle side with respect to the axial direction becomes a first angle &alpha；1. At the distal end 102, the coil 3 is formed of a plurality of strands, where adjacent strands come into contact with each other to form a strand bundle, the bundle including a plurality of strands. The strands 31 and 32 have a second pitch L2 smaller than the first pitch L1, and are wound such that a winding angle of the strands 31 and 32 in an acute angle side with respect to the axial direction becomes a second angle &alpha；2 greater than the first angle &alpha；1.
