PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting an operation sequence of a magnetic resonance system with a magnetic field distribution map taken into consideration.SOLUTION: A current magnetic field distribution map (ΔB0, ΔB1) is acquired based on a predetermined acquisition pattern, and at the same time, a magnetic field distribution map (ΔB0, ΔB1) with respect to a magnetic field distribution representative slice RS is determined, the magnetic field distribution representative slice being representative of a magnetic field distribution map (ΔB0, ΔB1) with a second number of slices on a predetermined optimization criterion.
