The fragrance emitting dispensing pump (10) has a pump mechanism (15) and pumphead on one end of the pump mechanism (15). The pump head comprises an upper anda lower portion (16,14). The fragrance substance (30) is within an internal areain the upper portion (16). The lower portion has a structure (19) for attachingthe dispensing pump (10) to the container (12). The upper portion (16) of the pumphead has a dispensing channel (21,22) through the internal area that on one endextends into the lower portion (14) of the pump head to the pump mechanism (15)and at a second end is open to the exterior atmosphere. A peripheral wall (28) ofthe upper portion and a peripheral wall (29) of the lower portion (14) have a space(34). Upon the actuation of the dispensing pump fragrance that is contained withinthe internal area is emitted dynamically from the space.
