The present invention provides a pressure sensor and an electrophysiology catheter, capable of limiting an elastic tube member to be within a specific deformation range, thereby preventing breakage of the elastic tube member, and increasing the service life of a strain gauge. The pressure sensor comprises an elastic tube member and a strain gauge. The strain gauge is disposed on the elastic tube member. The elastic tube member is provided with a hollow transverse opening, and at least one first position limiting structure is provided between two opposite ends of the transverse opening. Each first position limiting structure comprises a first position limiting portion and a second position limiting portion. The first position limiting portion is connected to a first opening wall of the transverse opening. The second position limiting portion is connected to a second opening wall of the transverse opening. When the transverse opening is axially deformed, the first position limiting portion and the second position limiting portion move relatively along with the transverse opening until the two portions mutually engage. The electrophysiology catheter comprises a far catheter end provided with the pressure sensor.
