An apparatus for securing an implantable lead within tissue of a patient includes a base adapted to be secured to a patients skull adjacent a craniotomy. The base has an upper surface and a lower surface with a central passage therebetween. The central passage is adapted to receive the implantable lead therethrough. The apparatus also has a cover that is releasably coupled to the base so as to substantially cover the central passage and capture the implantable lead therebetween. A first rotating member is also coupled with the base and the first member is rotationally movable so as to meet and engage the implantable lead at a plurality of positions within the central passage.La présente invention concerne un appareil permettant de fixer une dérivation implantable dans le tissu dun patient. Ledit appareil inclut une base adaptée pour être fixée à un crâne de patient à côté dune craniotomie. Ladite base présente une surface supérieure et une surface inférieure avec un passage central entre les deux. Ledit passage central est adapté pour recevoir la dérivation implantable à lintérieur. Cet appareil possède en outre un couvercle qui est couplé amoviblement à la base, de manière à recouvrir substantiellement le passage central et à capturer la dérivation implantable entre les deux. Un premier élément de rotation est également couplé à la base, et ce premier élément peut être déplacé rotativement de manière à rejoindre et à venir en prise avec la dérivation implantable, dans une pluralité de positions à lintérieur du passage central.
