The present invention relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres,in particular the hair, which consists in applying to the keratin fibres: - at least one coat of at least a first composition (i) comprising at least one hydrophobic film-forming polymer, at least one volatile solvent and at least one pigment, and then, after drying, - at least a second coat of at least a second composition (ii) comprising at least one hydrophobic film-forming polymer, at least one volatile solvent and at least one pigment, - the pigments of compositions (i) and (ii) being qualitatively and/or quantitatively different.La présente invention concerne un procédé de coloration de fibres kératiniques, en particulier des cheveux, qui consiste à appliquer aux fibres kératiniques : - au moins une couche d'au moins une première composition (i) comprenant au moins un polymère filmogène hydrophobe, au moins un solvant volatile et au moins un pigment, puis, après le séchage, - au moins une seconde couche d'au moins une seconde composition (ii) comprenant au moins un polymère filmogène hydrophobe, au moins un solvant volatile et au moins un pigment, - les pigments des compositions (i) et (ii) étant qualitativement et/ou quantitativement différents.
