A processor (130) forms volume data (510) by using the plurality of ultrasound data. The processor (130) further sets a plurality of rendering directions (610,621-623) corresponding to a plurality of geometries and renders the volume data (510) along the plurality of respective rendering directions (610,621-623) to form a plurality of preview images.
